Finally going home from Skudai after staying there for 5 days or so.
Gave a ride to a friend whose home is in Muar & en route we stopped by Parit Sulong. They have pretty cool bundle (used clothing) so we decided to shop around. Got myself a really sturdy jacket (bila la nk snow kat M'sia?) & a CK shirt.
The next stop is Melaka, where I met up wif Rooty, Orkibal & Samwise (they were in Seremban prior to this). We were right lunatics! Melaka is awesome n scenic n stuff, but most of all it has tonnes of cool places to paste up! We scuttle about pasting & snapping like mad. Then we met Anim & Ebliss at Mahkota Parade. Later Ebliss took us to the Klan clothing shop where there's some really cool looking graffiti. The tour ended in Umbai where Ebliss belanja us seafood: 2 siakap bakar & sotong goreng tepung. yummy. thanx, mate!

Apparently, somebody went around the faculty doing some stenciling. the stencil is everywhere in the school, possibly the whole university! (haven't got time to check the whole campus). The placements are pretty wicked & some are just crazy (pak guard's box, for example..). managed to take a few pictures, but I'm not sure whether I got all of it cuz to be frank, I'm quite surprised to find some of the ones that I found!
The stencil reads: "Critical Mess" with an upturned "e". I guess that was done to visually illustrate "mess". but if u think about it, an upturned "e" looks like an "a", doesn't it? which then would spell "Critical Mass" - u know, quantum physics, thermo dynamics n stuff..? either way, the motive is uncertain. What is it really trying to say? is it merely tagging? or is there more to it?
But I kinda fancy it - the upturned "e" just makes it look much deeper. it's enigmatic, minimal, in a word: brilliant. no wonder people thought I was the one who did it!

turned 25 today. a quarter of a century, fancy that..
"a quarter of a century" may make me sound ancient, but rest assured, I'm still "vibrating" with youth (..as pointed out by Nurul to me earlier today).
"vibrating" eh? maybe that's why I can't take a steady shot wif my camera?
anyway, went to Ikea (to look for Mak's stuff, not mine  ) & later tried to drown ourselves with coffee at the cafe. (adding more to my "vibration" hehehe.. )

by the end of a rather tiring Saturday, I met up wif Orkibal & Muid to trade stickers  . this is the 2nd time I met Orkibal & my 1st time wif Muid. Always pleased to meet new faces. However this is somewhat special cuz I've known their work prior to this meeting & I have nothing but props for their works! I end up wif a whole pack of stickers from Orkibal & a fresh sketch from Muid. thnx guys!
Went shooting around KL wif Sham today for a yet to be scripted short film! ) pasted here and there the whole time. Oh, the pavillion in front of Masjid India? "Apalling" is too gentle to describe it. An atrocity most heinous that Iblis himself wouldn't accept it if we were to condemn it to Jahannam. And I'm not simply being sentimental about the Masjid, it's just that it's such a poor spatial solution. such a waste..
